I am a software engineer who focuses on cloud computing, distributed systems, and data science, though my interests cross into many areas across computing. I thrive in environments that involve collaborating and working towards solving creative problems. Currently I am evaluating edge clouds and their benefits towards smart cities.
I also enjoy studying how technology can interact with people and the surrounding world. I am particularly interested in how technology can be used to improve people’s lives and help make an impact on society. I believe that visualization and building easy to understand systems is a big part of this.
During some downtime in Amherst, I recently discovered rock climbing and have quickly become addicted to it. I find it serves as a nice escape from grad school. I also enjoy cycling through the various hilltowns of Western Massachusetts, you should come visit and give it a try! On my undergraduate study abroad trip to London, I discovered the sport of darts and have loved it ever since.
